Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022 Route Map

The Ha Long Bay Heritage Marathon 2022, Vietnam's oldest heritage race, sets the Start and Finish gates at the Quang Ninh Palace of Planning and Exhibition.

 

 

From the Start line, runners competing in the 42-km and 21-km distances will head for Bai Tho bridge to the Goc Da (Banyan Tree Stump) roundabout and make the first U-turn. They will then run on Tran Quoc Nghien street towards Quang Hanh, make a second U-turn and head straight for the Finish line.

 

 

Runners of the 10-km and 5-km distances at 450 m after the Start line will turn right onto Tran Quoc Nghien street and head for the turning point of all distances, then run straight to the Finish line.

There will be 12 refreshment points, including 1 large water station at Start/Finish, 1 substation and 10 RPs throughout the route.

On the track, there will be 11 fixed medical points, plus medical staff moving on motorbikes and bicycles to provide support along the way.

There will be a special point for this year's race, as runners will be given water, medical support and directions from their close "running mates". The RPs on the entire track will carry special imprints from nine close running clubs of the marathons.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running tracks is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, starting from 2022.
