HALONG BAY HERITAGE MARATHON 2023 ENDS REGISTRATION OCT 31

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2023, the race that runs through part of Wonder of the World Ha Long Bay, will end registrations for all distances at 23:59 on Oct 31, 2023.

The marathon, Vietnam’s oldest heritage race, enters its 9^th year while maintaining its extremely special route connecting the two modern cities of Ha Long and Cam Pha.

The track includes a 235-meter tunnel going under a limestone mountain range, which will be fully closed to traffic for runners.

Many unique tourist attractions lie along the Ha Long-Cam Pha coastal route, with magnificent limestone island complex towering between heaven and earth on both sides of the track, interleaving mangrove forests and tropical marine parks, one of Ha Long Bay’s 10 typical ecosystems.

Running between blue mountains and waters with boats passing back and forth, the marathon track will surely bring extremely wonderful experiences to runners!

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running track is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors since 2022.

The Heritage Race system, organized annually by DHA Vietnam, comprises the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race in October, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon in November and the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race in December.
