HALONG BAY HERITAGE MARATHON 2023: RACE KIT PICKUP, BAG DROP AREA

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2023's Organizers would like to announce the instructions on the Race Kit pickup and Bag Drop areas for Runners.

 

The Welcome Gate of the Race Kit Distribution and Storage Area

(Location: Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center, October 30 street, the coastal side)

• Runners have the QR code checked in the area behind the Welcome Gate.
• If there is any problem with the QR code, please quickly move to the Runner Support Desk (The support staff will guide you to this area).
• If the QR code check is successful, please move along the separate aisles for distances 42 km/21 km/10 km/5 km (Please pay attention to the signage)
• Please line up at the Fence area before being directed to the Race Kit pickup table by a volunteer (Area A)
• After receiving Race Kit, move to EXIT, check Chip activity on BIB at Sportstats BIB check area.

INSTRUCTIONS ON RECEIVING EVENT T-SHIRT (AREA B)

• After checking BIB, runners please move straight to the T-SHIRT pickup area (Area B)
• This is also the Finisher shirt pick-up area for the 42-km distance.

Note: The Organizers have specified the Queuing Areas based on the SHIRT SIZE.

• Please line up at the fenced area before being guided by volunteers to the event T-shirt pick-up desk.
• Use BIB to pick up your event T-shirt and quickly move out of the area after receiving the shirt.

INSTRUCTIONS ON BAG DEPOSIT (NOVEMBER 19, 2023)

Location:

1. 1. Area A (Behind the Welcome Gate): Bag Drop for Runners competing in the 21 KM/10 KM/5 KM distances.
   2. Area B: Bag drop for 42-km marathoners

Operating hours: from 4:00 a.m. November 19, 2023.

• Runners should use the BIB provided by the Organizers to deposit belongings.
• The Organizers only keep belongings of the runners who have BIB provided by the Organizers.
• Please remember your Deposit Counter and the Deposit Code so you can quickly receive your items after the race.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running track is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors since 2022.

The Heritage Race system, organized annually by DHA Vietnam, comprises the Hanoi Marathon - Heritage Race in October, the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon in November and the Can Tho Marathon - A Heritage Race in December.
