who all have supported and accompanied us in making Vietnam’s oldest heritage race a success.

We extend our special appreciation to the Quang Ninh People's Committee, the Quang Ninh Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Health, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Information and Communication, the Quang Ninh Police, District police, and Ward police of the areas where the race routes passed through. All the institutions have extended collaboration, assistance, and helped us successfully organize the 8^th edition of the marathon.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon, and DHA Vietnam's Heritage Race system as a whole, not only aims to promote the sports movement and enhance the physical fitness of the Vietnamese people, but also emphasize to cover the beauty and highlights of Vietnam’s cultural traditions to the world. The event has attracted both Vietnamese and foreign runners and visitors to come and experience, witnessing firsthand a Vietnam that is recovering and developing vigorously.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running track is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors since 2022.
