Halong Bay Heritage Marathon Registration To Start April 15

Runners could start signing up for the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022 on April 15 and join the race to be held this November.

Vietnamese and foreign runners could start the registration for Vietnam’s oldest heritage race on the shore of a World Natural Heritage site as of 0:01 a.m. on April 15 at the website: https://halong.vietnamheritagemarathon.com/

After its debut on Novmber 28, 2015, the race had been held annually until last year when it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, the Organizers of the marathon entering its eighth year will welcome runners back to a new running track, will a promotional rate starting as low as VND 240,000 (USD 10).

Impressive innovations at this race include a fully blocked beachside track, a run through Ha Long and Cam Pha, two of Quang Ninh province’s most romantic and modern cities, and a special carnival to be held on the sidelines.

Another special point in the 2022 marathon agenda will be RELAY, a matching game arranged exclusively for club members for the first time at a marathon in Vietnam.

Runners with reserved rights need to look up, update information (if any) and check their new Bib number at the website address above. The Organizers will also give a nice Bib number picking program in gratitude to runners who have registered from the 2021 race as well as to runners registered before April 30, 2022.

From March 15, 2022, Vietnam has lifted restrictions, opening the door to foreign tourism, with citizens from 13 countries exempted from entry visa if they stay for 15 days, regardless of passport type or purpose of entry.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022 has the ONLY track in Ha Long to be certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, starting from 2022.
