Runners’ Comments Of Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022, which has Vietnam’s most beautiful heritage track, has ended with a lot of emotions from runners.

Their comments and sharing will be an impressive legacy for the next marathon, scheduled to take place on November 19, 2023.

The Organizers of the race have received many comments along the line: “The track is so beautiful”, and “It was the first time I broke the ice of the Finish line. There was a motorcade carrying the flags to clear the road, (it made us) feeling very excited, and the process of searching for photos after the Race was even better, just type the Bib number in and 170 photos popped up”.

“A race in which we gained too much of volunteers’ love, especially those bros and sisters of Bac Ninh Runners, Thanh Ha Runners, Turtle Runners and Thong Nhat Park Runners… There were so many more, I could not remember them all who danced, cheered and called my name and supported me enthusiastically every time I ran past. Thank you to all the volunteers, thank you to the whole medical team who are very charming and enthusiastic every time I would ask for a cold spray,” shared runner Thai Thi Hong, the woman champion of the 42-km Full Marathon.

“Running on the coastal road, you are able to watch the sunrise over the cliff, feeling as if we are immersed in nature. The track is 100 percent blocked, so it's very safe,” recalled runners with the nickname Lo Cot La Ta who competed in the 42-km distance.

“I saw that the last marathon had the exciting atmosphere as if it was a festival on the track. I was enthusiastically supported and cheered by the crew, it was like a drug to increase my mental strength when I was nearing the Finish line. The running track is so beautiful, there is nothing to criticize,” is the feeling of runner Hoang Minh Quan, who seized the 3rd prize in the men's 5-km category.

Many local runners have sent comments like "I’ve signed up for my entire neighborhood” to the Organizers by this time.

A huge discount of 70 percent to the Early Bird rates is now in place for groups of at least 10 people, valid between Nov 20 and Nov 30, 2022.

The attractive incentive involving a free selection of a Bib with a nice number is applied to runners who successfully sign up before 11:59 p.m. on Nov 30, 2022.

Runners who successfully register in a group will receive a transfer code worth VND 250,000, valid until May 30, 2023.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running tracks is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, starting from 2022.
