CORRECTION: Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022 Insurance

(Correcting the total number of people registered to compete in the race is “around 6,000” instead of “nearly 7,000”)

 

The Organizers of the Ha Long Bay Heritage Marathon 2022, Vietnam's oldest heritage race, will buy insurance for all runners and supporting staff.

All the runners registered to compete, of around 6,000 people, and nearly 500 marathon supporters are entitled to participate in insurance with compensation up to VND 20 million/case/person.

In addition, to ensure runners' safety, the Organizers will arrange 11 fixed medical stations, located next to refreshment points and many mobile medical personnel by bike and bicycle on the entire route.

Ambulances will also be located at certain fixed points, while 2 units will be moving along the track.

Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and Bai Chay Hospital, the official medical sponsors for the marathon, will arrange up to 80 highly qualified doctors and nurses, ready to be present in any situation.

In order for runners to get the best support, as well as the highest safety in the race, the Organizers kindly request runners to use their own Bibs.

The Organizers are not responsible in cases where runners intentionally run, wearing an illegal Bib, a Bib bearing another runner's name.

Runners may be invited to leave the track if the Organizers discover any fault with using Bibs.

The Organizers wish all the runners and the support team of the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon a good experience in the 8th competition year.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running tracks is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, starting from 2022.
