AIMS Standardizes Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022 Track

The running track of the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2022, Vietnam's oldest heritage race, has been standardized by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS).

AIMS world A-class expert, Mr. Fung Wang Tak, and the Organizers of the marathon have completed the measurement of the new route for this year's tournament, the most beautiful heritage track in Vietnam where runners will stride right next to the clear blue sea, under the brilliant autumn sun.

The track that cuts through a part of Ha Long Bay includes the 235-meter tunnel under the mountain, connecting the cities of Ha Long and Cam Pha in Quang Ninh province.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon owned by DHA Vietnam is the official race of Quang Ninh province, and a member of AIMS since 2022.

The Halong Bay Heritage Marathon running tracks is certified by the World Athletics and the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races. The race is part of the official competition system of the Vietnam Sports Administration and the Vietnam Athletics Federation. The marathon has joined the Age Group Ranking System of Abbott World Marathon Majors, starting from 2022.
